I finally feel good about offering subscriptions. This weather has been crazy and affected the growth rate of most of my flowers but I’m starting to see some good growth.

I have room for 5 more subscriptions, if you are interested let me know! It’s 5 bouquets for $100. You can pick them up weekly or bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 4pm-6pm or Saturdays 8:30am-10:30am.

Hey flower friends!

I’m about 2 weeks out from having bouquets available. I’ve been waiting on these 2 rows to start blooming to have enough focal flowers. I’ve got filler flowers and greenery ready, though (third pic).

With a little bit of a late start and the high amount of days with high temps šŸŒžā˜€ļø has slowed down growth but theyre just about ready to hit their stride.

Is anyone interested in subscriptions again this year? They’d be $100 for 5 bouquets. Pickup would be weekly or bi-weekly depending on interest.

Still about 30-45 days out from having enough flowers to make bouquets, but I was able to cut these today.

Over the past 2 months I’ve spent a lot of time cleaning up the field from last year. Having lost my mother at the beginning of last season, I wasn’t able to get outside much to keep up with the weeds and maintaining the garden.

The second and third picture show what it looked like at the end of last season. The last picture shows what it looks like today.

Im about 90% done with the cleanup and have gotten most seeds planted and all the dahlias in the ground. I also received a grant for a micro irrigation system and have that set up, which is exciting.

I’ll post more pictures as I start to see more blooms. Happy Friday everyone!

I haven’t posted much this year because I’ve been so busy out in the field!

I had a LOT of work to do to get caught up from last year, but I’m just about caught up with clean up and I’ve got everything planted.

Will probably start to have bouquets available in July and will post when they’re ready. I’ll try to be better about posting updates, but here are some for now.

First pic is a bouquet I made from the few things I do have available at the moment for my daughter’s 8th grade graduation. Second pic is a BEAUTIFUL peony I planted a year ago. I bought several varieties but you have to wait 3 years before you can start cutting from the plants.
And then last pic is the field. It doesn’t look like much now but give it a month and it will be šŸŒ¹šŸŒøšŸ’šŸŒ»

Spring is finally here and I’m excited!

Here are some trays of lisianthus and carnations. They’re hardening off over the next week and then the planting begins! After a difficult year last year I’m excited to get out in the garden and my hands in the dirt.

Hello Wildflower Friends,

I know it’s been some time since I’ve posted. I had hoped to be posting today to announce subscriptions would be starting, but unfortunately I’m officially calling this season as a loss.

The loss of my mother earlier this year was devastating, and between dealing with her estate and the grief, I lost several months of the season to depression.

In addition, the multiple storms, and the weeks of high temperatures have just been too much to come back from. While I wasn’t able to get some of the flowers I planned to plant started, I did spend many hours planting a beautiful selection of dahlias I had been curating during the off season. However,
the storm last week took out all of the dahlias that I was waiting on, along with the sunflowers, zinnias and other filler flowers.

I am so sorry to those of you that were looking forward to flower subscriptions again this year. I spent so much time and money getting ready for this season and had some beautiful new flowers and varieties I was excited to show you all. But sometimes things don’t go as planned…

I hope you’ll consider sticking with me for next season as I will be coming back next year. I’m also excited to announce I was approved for a grant and will be installing an irrigation system over the next few months, which will help to produce larger, healthier flowers (with less water waste)!

Thank you to everyone for your support during these challenging times and I hope you’ll stick around and give me another chance in 2025.

Hello Flower Friends,

I wanted to post an update as I haven’t been very active recently. My mother unexpectedly passed away in February so the past few weeks have been difficult.

I still plan to grow flowers for the 2024 season for bouquets and subscriptions, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get my ranunculus and anemones in the ground at the right this time year. However, I will have tulips mid-April thru mid-May and then my normal season should start sometime in June.

But, I’ve got some new roses coming this spring that I’m very excited about and I’m trying a few new varieties of zinnias, sunflowers, dahlias and lisianthus, so that will be fun to see how they turn out.

I guess that’s it. It’s been a rough few months but I got my green thumb from my mom and she loved the garden so I’m going to keep going… My mom would’ve been 64 next Monday, happy birthday week in heaven, mom!
