It’s not always fun. It’s late nights, tired feet, problem-solving, and moments of stress where you ask yourself, “Why did we do this again?”

But then the lights come on, the kids smile, and the community shows up—and every single time, we are reminded why we do it.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who came out to Christmas in the Park: “Catch Me If You Can – A Gingerbread Christmas.” Seeing our park filled with families, laughter, and Christmas joy made all the hard work worth it.

This FREE event is only possible because of you. Your participation in our fundraisers throughout the year helps us decorate, create, and bring these magical moments to life for our community. Every ticket bought, every donation given, and every bit of support truly makes a difference.

We are so grateful for this amazing community and for the memories we get to make together. ❤️

🎉 ✨ CLASS OF THE MONTH ✨ 🎉

This amazing group has truly shown what it means to represent Olustee with pride — from hard work in the classroom to great attitudes, teamwork, and leadership. Our Sophomores continue to step up and set an example for everyone around them. 💙🖤🤍

🎄 Angel Tree Update! 🎄
We currently have 20 angels left waiting to be sponsored at Town Hall. We began with 27, so we are incredibly grateful for everyone who has already stepped in to help make Christmas brighter for these kiddos. ❤️

The OEC will make sure every child is taken care of, but our funds are limited—so when our community sponsors an angel, it truly makes all the difference. If you feel led to sponsor one, please stop by Town Hall anytime.

✨ Angel gifts are due back by December 19th.
Wrapped gifts are appreciated, but if you’re unable to wrap, please return them a little early so we can make wrapping arrangements.

Thank you for helping us make Christmas magical for every child.. 🎁💛

🎃 Olustee… we have an idea! 👻

The OEC is tossing around the idea of bringing back a Haunted House next Halloween! Olustee hasn’t had one in over 25 years, and we think it would be an amazing event for the community.

But… we can’t do it alone. Five women cannot pull off an entire haunted house by ourselves, we would need LOTS of community involvement and RELIABLE volunteers of all ages.

It’ll be a big project with plenty of hard work, but it could also be one of the most fun things we’ve ever brought to Olustee!

If you think you’d be interested in helping, please message Darian Akers. I’ll start a volunteer list and reach out in a few months when planning begins.

✨ Behind the Scenes with the Olustee Events Committee ✨

Listen… putting on community events isn’t all glitter and hot cocoa.

Sometimes it’s deep debates, dramatic sighs, and a little bit of “are you kidding me right now?” energy. 😅

But one thing we never run out of? Laughs, chaos, and pure comedy gold.

So please enjoy this video of five fun-sized females attempting to assemble a 16-foot Christmas tree in the park — proving once again that determination (and a questionable amount of confidence) can accomplish anything. 💪😂🎄

🎄 Olustee Angel Tree is Now Open! 🎄

The Olustee Events Committee is excited to announce that our Angel Tree is officially up at the Olustee Town Hall! If you or someone you know could use a little extra help this Christmas, forms are now available to fill out right inside Town Hall.

✨ Deadline to apply is Tuesday, December 2nd.
Angels will be ready to sponsor Thursday December 4th.
✨ Children must reside in Olustee or Eldorado.
