Let’s talk about hexagons!
We love the hexagon blocks for their fun, contemporary shape! They’re visually interesting and display so beautifully! We offer our gorgeous hexagons in 3 sizes, 4 if you count our hexagon ornaments: in 9”, 6” & 4”. They’re the perfect way to create a cohesive look across your collection, with each size holding a different amount of flowers. The 4” hexagon is also a great option, over the square block, as it is actually deeper and can better hold your taller flowers, like roses. When considering your hexagon size, it’s important to consider how much variety your bouquet or arrangement has- if you have a wildflower style arrangement, you may want something larger that will allow you to include more of that variety. The same applies for bouquets with a heavy presence of large flowers like roses or sunflowers. While they will fit in a 6” hexagon, larger flowers will dominate the space and not allow for much else to be included. Our rule of thumb is that bigger is better! When it comes to saving your flowers, you only get one shot so it’s better to take the opportunity to save as much as you can, to truly create a piece that looked like your special arrangement as it did on your big day!
