The 13th Annual Mississippi Songwriters’ Festival will once again take place in Ocean Springs & Gautier September 15 - 18, 2022. We will have several performances going on simultaneously, throughout the downtown area with people being able to walk from one venue to the next.

☆ This Mississippi Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee co-wrote Tim McGraw's "Indian Outlaw," one of the biggest country records of the 1990s. During this time, he also co-wrote the #1 country single "My Love" by Little Texas. Along with McGraw and Little Texas, this inductee has had songs recorded by such artists as Hank Williams, Jr., T.G. Sheppard, Engelbert Humperdinck, The Dukes of Hazzard's Tom Wopat, and many others. He was inducted into the Mississippi Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2020. Who is he?

☆ Tommy Barnes, a native of Tupelo, Mississippi, was raised in North Alabama and currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee. Barnes has enjoyed a successful career as a songwriter and has been honored with multiple accolades, including inductions into the Mississippi Music Hall of Fame and the Mississippi Songwriters Hall of Fame.

We had such a phenomenal time this past Thursday evening at our 113th Songs & Stories Show. Before the show we had the pleasure being host of this months Chamber After Hours social. If you missed it, you missed a great time, tasty foods and awesome music! Thank you to Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau Dee White and our ole friend Taylor Craven Music for helping us create a fun evening. Founded in 2010 the Mississippi Songwriters festival has become one of the most beloved festivals in the country. The Mississippi Songwriters Alliance has developed education programs in schools, Veterans organizations and community along the gulf coast. The Mississippi Songwriters support, organize, and perform at events through out our communities and are music ambassadors all over the country. This is one of the most inclusive festivals and we seek to have participants from all types of music geographic areas. If you are willing to share your music and help up promote good will and original music we want you. Come join us September 20th through the 22nd 2019 and become part of the Mississippi Songwriters family.
