I had someone ask me {Not this beautiful creature} to slim her tummy in her photos.
I said no.
Because I wont.
I do not believe in giving you something that doesn't look like you.
I don't think only about the good days you'll look at your photos and feel like a bad bitch.
I think about the days you struggle to give yourself grace and look to them for a boost. Why would I give you something that doesn't look like you?
Why would I perpetuate the concept that you are anything other than a ravishing fu***ng goddess?
That isn't helpful. Here's the deal... You DONT have to love every part of your body. Theres no rule stating you HAVE to like your tummy, or your stretch marks, or *insert body part here*
You DONT HAVE TO.
You CAN however learn to be OKAY with your body
With accepting her for who she is and knowing that nothing about your worth changes if the shape or weight of your body does.
You're still beautiful
You're still perfect
You're still worthy of love and great things in life
You can still EAT THE FU***NG CAKE
And the one day, when you're not looking, you'll come to peace with her- your body. You'll start to look at yourself with kinder, softer eyes. With more love and acceptance for the journey you two have been on. You'll learn to see her for what she is. The house for your soul. For YOU. That shes carried you this far, and will continue to. That her scars, marks and the size of her pants dont really fu***ng matter. Because who YOU are, matters far fu***ng more than the outward appearance of your body.
