Starline was sold to new owners and is now A Capella. We are working on getting all the Facebook information changed, but there are verification timelines we can't speed up unfortunately. Thank you for your patience here.

We know that this space is held near to many of your hearts and we will work to bring countless new memories for Oakland.

Our grand opening is today from 5pm - 2am ... Come stop by and see the new place.

Tonite is the last dance y'all. Thanks to everyone who supported us during the past year and on a sincere personal note huge thanks to our incredible staff that tried so hard to keep this independent venue alive during these trying times. The bartenders and barbacks, the lighting and sound crew, our security staff and box office crew, our marketing guru and CFO, the management team and owner - I'm proud to have been part of such a great crew that frankly a lot of you in the comments have the wrong impression on. We've got two great parties on site tonite with tickets still available but it'll be free in the social club, come have one last drink and say goodbye...we'd really love to see you.

LAST TWO NIGHTS of Starline are this Friday and Saturday. Come say goodbye to yet another shuttering independent venue while you still have the chance!

Fri 12/30 - a true nail in the coffin as takes over the building one last time!

Sat 12/31 - ring in the new year and the end of an era with and friends upstairs or Tim Armstrong of and friends spinning downstairs!

We love you Oakland and we'll miss hosting parties for you. We're leaving it all on the table this weekend so don't miss it!
