As a kid I grew up eating oatmeal with butter, whole milk and brown sugar on it... today I swap out the butter for Sciabica's Lemon Olive Oil, blueberries for the brown sugar and healthy walnuts and no whole milk! Soooooo good! All healthier, as I'm not a kid anymore!

REST IN PEACE CHEF MICHAEL CHIARELLO 🙏 with sincere and heartfelt condolences to Chef's family, loved ones, friends, colleagues and lives he touched. I did not know him, but I shared a magazine cover and pages in between with him. Respectfully, I admired him as a chef and his wonderful successes. Other common threads; we were close in age as he was only 61, he's from Turlock, California, we both love Napa and we both share severe allergies. May his Spirit live on through his culinary dishes throughout the world. 🙏

I was playing around with recipes yesterday.... I'm not much of a baker, so I used box cake mix and instead of vegetable oil I used Sciabica's Orange Olive Oil! 🍊 soooo tasty!!! 😋

✈️🌎🍷🍽🥖 Dana's Family Kitchen will be on vacation through July 26th!!! I will be traveling through Italy, France, and Spain and I might not have good service, so if you leave a message for a booking and I don't respond, please know I will!

Pink-A-Boo⁉️ Fresh strawberries at Costco, pale in color, says a hint of pineapple, has little flavor and dense texture. Perhaps a unique addition to a charcuterie board or maybe put them in food color & water for rainbow strawberries 🤔 Dine well... Dah~lings

What a wonderful gathering of family and friends!! Thank you for the opportunity last night to be your in-home private chef and participate in the birthday celebration!!
Virginia (gracious hostess and long time friend 😘) and I created the menu together, then I did my thing~ a blueberry baked brie, fruity sangria, seafood medley, lemon chicken medallions, marinara kale mushroom pasta, pesto tortellini, green and white asparagus from Peru, with pesto and butter breads 😋 it was Dana~licious!!
