The City of Oak Ridge Youth Advisory Board is hosting “Breakfast with Buddy” on Saturday, December 7th from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Oak Ridge Recreation Center, at 1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike.

Reservations are required, as spaces for the event are limited. For reservations, please visit orrecparks.recdesk.com. Online reservations close Friday, November 6th at 4 pm. A very limited number of walk-in spots will be available after this date. All payments must be made in person, at the Recreation Center Front Desk and are payable by cash or check only. Activities include a pancake breakfast, hot cocoa, Holiday crafts, a spaghetti eating contest, and photos with Buddy.

City of Oak Ridge offices and facilities will be operating on a 3-hour delay for Monday, January 22, 2024.

Annual Senior Citizens Day at the Oak Ridge Outdoor Pool is set for August 2 at 172 Providence Road.
The pool is reserved exclusively for seniors 50 and older on Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will be games and door prizes along with the opportunity to swim in one of the largest spring-fed pools in the southeast.
A light lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. on a first come, first served basis while it lasts. The event is free for seniors aged 50 and older, but please call the Oak Ridge Senior Center at (865) 425-3999 to reserve your spot by July 28.
Please note that the Senior Center building will be closed until 1 p.m. that day so come out and join us for some fun in the sun!

The Indoor Pool will not be open past 2 pm the rest of this week and will be closed on Saturday due to the Memorial Day weekend and preparing for our new schedule beginning Tuesday the 30th!
