Christmas markets in Europe!

This is actually what inspired Jingle & Jetsets 🎄✨

That slower, wander-through-it feeling
Mulled wine, lights, music, everything layered together

Experience multiple markets, in multiple countries without packing and unpacking the entire trip.

Budapest. Vienna. Germany.
All connected by the river.

So yes… we’re bringing that energy here on a smaller scale, but we are also taking a group to experience the real thing in 2027.

This is a stroopwafel.

There’s caramel in the middle that gets soft and warm especially if you set it on top of a hot drink.

They’re everywhere at European Christmas markets.

Once you try one, you look for them every time.

Atlanta just confirmed it… 🎄

The Atlanta Christkindl Market is returning to Lawrenceville Lawn for the 2026 season.

No dates yet but if you’ve been, you already know the rhythm:

Late November → Christmas Eve
Lights, vendors, warm drinks, and that unmistakable European market atmosphere.

Now here’s where it gets fun…

We’re planning a December 2026 group trip to experience it together and pairing it with a visit to Helen, Georgia while it’s fully decorated for Christmas.

Two completely different experiences:
🎄 A bustling European-style market
🏔️ A cozy Bavarian-inspired mountain town

Same weekend. Same vibe. Different energy.

One thing European Christmas markets do really well…

The mugs. ☕🎄

Every year they release a new design.
Some people actually travel from market to market just to collect them.

Last year at Jingle & Jetsets we had the red boot mug.

So now we’re curious…

In many German Christmas markets, greenery bundles like this are tucked into wooden stalls . They are layered with dried citrus, cinnamon, and natural textures.

No glitter.
No plastic.
Just texture, scent, and slow holiday charm.

Today’s European Christmas inspo: Nuremberg, Germany 🇩🇪

This isn’t a cathedral… it’s a fountain. The Schöner Brunnen (“Beautiful Fountain”) sitting in Nuremberg’s main market square, right where their famous Christmas market comes alive each winter.

Built in the late 1300s and shaped like a Gothic spire, it’s covered in detailed figures. The kind of “stop-and-stare” craftsmanship Europe does so well.

And there’s a local tradition: visitors spin a gold ring on the fountain for good luck + wishes. ✨
