Today we celebrate Ranger’s Gotcha Day!🎉🤍 Now (about) 2 years old, this Great Pyrenees was found as a stray in Texas and made his way to a local Ohio rescue shelter a year ago. We were looking for another canine companion and absolutely fell in love with him. He is a ball of fluff cuddle bug, as well as a diligent protector of the rest of the animals on the farm. He takes his working dog job seriously- and we are SO lucky to have him as part of the farm.

Spotlighting: 🌟PENNY🌟 A 7 year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who has been with the farm since she was a puppy. She wants to be where the people are, which usually is in some sort of vehicle or machine, in the chicken coop, the garden, you name it. She will corral any dog, duck, chicken, turkey, human if you asked her to “get em.” She is a very important part of S & S Farms, bringing joy to a tough day if nothing else!

With going on this weekend, we wanted to share a throwback from this past June. After an extremely heavy rainstorm over the concert grounds we were able to quickly load up the trailer, deliver, and spread the last of our straw with the gracious help of others. This greatly controlled the mud and kept the venue pretty dry in order to have another successful night of live performances!🎵🎸
