100 ! Wow, 100 followers is breadcrumbs to most, but to this social media shy and “damn even thinking about what to post gives paralyzing anxiety” lady, it’s the world. This past year ish has been my season of settling into ME; being easy on my downfalls or what I used to feel like were failures, personality/lifestyle/schedule juxtapositions that couldn’t survive socials, and learning to be unapologetic for my passions and choices, and pirate mouth😬.

I am…
…a micro flower farmer who focuses on spring tulips and their friends (Daffs, sweet peas, pansies, hyacinths, alliums etc). That’s it for now. I’ll have smmmaalll summer offerings of tried and tested annuals this year but also, no big deal if the wind blows me in a different direction this summer. (There are many local growers who grow amazing beauties majority of the year)

—Summer goes quick and the time with my friends, family and kids is fleeting. I’d truly like to believe that there will always be time for flowers down the road if either of those three things take over.

…a soul torn between the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest. I love both with my whole heart…. Except the humidity and bugs. Just no.

Let’s show some love to our local educators and school staff! Although it’s not quite teacher appreciation week, I think the incredible humans taking care of our children deserve love every darn day. Also, world health day is recognized tomorrow, Tuesday April 7.

Double whammy ! The entire classroom, (students, teachers & staff) can benefit from fresh flowers. They can trigger positive emotional health, lower stress levels, and decrease feelings of anxiety, worry, and depression. They can also help our kiddos focus, foster innovation, and increase productivity by boosting energy.
How great! At the end of the week, teachers can take their arrangement home for the weekend.

As a way to give back to my community, I’m offering a these tulip jars at a discounted price for ONLY $20+tax with free delivery! Order a small jar of tulips for a teacher or staff and I’ll personally delivery it to any Unit 5, District 87, or any teaching establishment here in town. I’ll put teachers name on jar and drop it off in the office.

This week’s delivery will be Tuesday 4/6 or Wednesday 4/7.
