6.14 デモ行進まとめ（Pt.1 ）

小雨が断続的に降り続く中、代々木公園には続々とマーチ参加者が集まりました。BLACK LIVES MATTERに関する各々の主張を掲げたプラカードやスタイルに身を包んだ参加者の真剣な眼差し。

この週末に２日連続開催されたマーチの最終目。警察の発表によるとこの日3,500人もの人が集まったそうです。（感覚的にはもっとはるかに多かったという声多数）

誰かと一緒に行こうとか特に約束していなくても、公園で多くの友達に遭遇し、この問題に関心を寄せ、どうにか考えよう、力になろうとしている人たちが本当に自発的に、そしてごく自然にデモに参加していることを感じ、感動しました。

行進が始まると雨が上がり、私たちは代々木公園を出発し渋谷の中心部を回りました。オーガナイザーの方たちが、雨や汗でぐちゃぐちゃになりながら、拡声器📢を持って前に後ろに移動し掛け声をリードしてくれたので、こういうものに慣れていない日本人の私たちも、最初こそもじもボソボソしていましたが、次第に拳を高く突き出し、声を大きくし、ひとつの大きな塊となり、訴えました。

外国人の参加者はおそらく半分くらいかそれ以上を占め、中でもアフリカ系の方々は我々以上に声を張り上げていて、ああ、これは実際彼らの身を長年脅かしている深刻な問題なのだから、このデモ行進も本当に真剣に訴えを伝える覚悟で取り組まなければならない、と改めて思いました。

参加者の多さから、3グループに分けられ、グループごとに順番にルートを3周しました。おそらく警察の指示によるものだと思いますが、これだけは、本当に残念でしたね。1回目が終わった人たちは、2回め3回目が行進をしている中、横をプラカードを小脇に抱えて帰宅しているという不思議な光景でした。参加者が一斉にスタートし、割れるような声で、一致団結して行進した方が絶対に良かったです。

私たち日本人の多くは、今回のジョージ・フロイドさんの件で、アメリカの長年の深い差別問題への関心を高めました。そしてこれはまだ始まったばかりです。悲しいかなこういうムーブメントは時間が経つと必ず勢いを無くしてしまいます。でもこれはトレンドではなく、400年も続く問題へ、かつて無いほど多くの日本人が関心を向けだしたスタートです。

私たちはこの勢いと戦うモチベーションを皆さんとともにもち続けるため、自分に出来ることで精一杯取り組んでいくので、これからも我々の発信する情報を各種ソーシャルメディアやホームページからキャッチしてください。私たちは「全て日本語」で伝えることをポリシーとしています。また、コメントやメッセージなどもいつでも歓迎してます！

Never again will I stay at the top of a mountain after sundown for a picture again though. I for sure thought I was going to die going back down through the woods by myself with no cellphone 📵 and no flashlight 🔦 but I guess it was worth it for the photos I took. 😅
