This internship will assist you in finding and refining your skills as a videographer. At the end of the internship, the intern will gain valuable hands-on experience and possess an understanding of video production from an editor’s point of view.
Requirements
Open to exceptional high school students (18+) but prefer current undergraduate students or recent graduates
Must be mobile (own transportation)
Equipment: Any camera. stabilizer, lighting etc.
Duration: 6 months with an option to remain with the company if in aggreance.
Education: No education requirement but applicant must have knowledge of and access to Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere Pro.
Open to all but prefer undergraduates in Film/Video, Media, Communication, and Journalism departments.
Actively pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in the related field of study.
High level of both creative thinking, visual storytelling, and written and oral communication skills.
Experience with DSLR cameras and lighting equipment.
Demonstrates empathy and a commitment to providing superior service.
Ability to assess company needs and offer alternatives.
Displays a high level of integrity.
Seeks continuous learning and improvement through feedback and other means.
Ability to be a self-starter and work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to analyze problems and to arrive to a proper solution.
Demonstrates a commitment to each project and quality enhancing.
Accepts responsibility and is accountable for high-quality results.
Attention to detail.
General knowledge of cameras (still and video), audio mixers, video encoding, microphones. Advanced knowledge of any is a plus.
Moderate to excellent skills with Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Interest in video editing and producing.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift at least 25lbs.
Ability to stand or sit for several hours.

To be eligible to participate in the internship program, you must know:
- This position is unpaid, but you will receive college/educational credits for your work, if needed.
- This internship will be a mentorship program where you will work and get direct advisement.
- Internships are typically 3, 8-hour days (weekdays) per week for a 6 month period. Some internships may require additional hours, evenings, or weekends.
- Must attend weekly meetings.
