In honor of Black History Month, I got to give props to Games Done Quick, which hosted Back to Black, a showcase of black speedrunners doing their thing. It was streamed on Twitch from February 5th to 8th. Apparently, it's a yearly event, and I'm disappointed I didn't discover it sooner; as a gamer of color and speedrunning enthusiast, I'm proud to say the Black in a Flash community has my full support, and I hope to one day be part of what they're doing. Like most Games Done Quick events, they raise money for charity during their live streams on Twitch. Outside of gaming content creation and my aspirations to be a tattoo artist, among many things I find myself drawn to is philanthropy, part of which involves understanding, promoting, and, if possible, donating to charity and nonprofit organizations. Like anything that I support, I did my research first according to Games Done Quick's website, $44,000 was raised in donations during Back to Black 2025 which benefited Race Forππ₯ππΏππΎ

And I for one am a firm believer in Racial equality and racial Justice so I will do more research on this charity however in the meantime I encourage anybody regardless of race nationality ethnic background or cultural identity to take time and check out some of the black in a flash speedrunners on Games Done Quick's YouTube channel ... and once again shout out to Black in a Flash continue to bring Spotlight to the black community and continue displaying black excellence and continue making black history
