This was by far our favorite day of 2022. We woke up at 4 am in Genoa to drive to Portofino for a sunrise boat ride. It was still dark when we got on the boat, so we were able to watch the whole city come alive. Something I loved was watching how slow life was. People weren’t in a hurry to get anywhere. The shops slowly opened as people waved to one another with a caffè in hand. We soaked in every moment and enjoyed our conversations gliding through the Italian Riviera.
