The Town of Deer Lake is excited to announce the 4th Annual Market and Car Show on Main and we welcome all participants to gather and enjoy the space together.

The event will take place July 16th, 2025 on North Main Street. Market is open from 4pm-8pm and the car show will run from 5pm-8pm. Expect to enjoy great crafts, food and some live music, too! ❤️🚘

It’s been a long time coming, but the Annex is finally ready — and we’re celebrating with YOU, our amazing community! Join us for a week of fun, food, and first looks as we open the doors to this exciting new space at the Deer Lake Recreational Complex.

“From birthday parties to booths—my face painting journey!”

What started as something fun at my little sister’s birthday parties turned into something I truly love. Years ago, I discovered I had a talent for face painting—turns out a few brushes, some color, and a lot of imagination can make kids so happy!

After doing a few parties (including my first ever paid gig for a family member!), life got busy and I drifted away from it… but then something amazing happened.

Last summer, someone from our local Strawberry Festival committee asked if I wanted to set up a booth—and that one simple question brought it all back.

I showed up with just a handmade sign, a few brushes, and some paint—but what I got in return was pure joy. Watching those little faces light up when they saw themselves in the mirror reminded me exactly why I love doing this.

So here I am—ready to keep creating magic, one face at a time.

Thank you to everyone who supported me that day—and to everyone who’s cheered me on since. This is just the beginning!
