We lost a very special member of the Sipsy family this weekend. 💔

If you’ve followed us for a while, you may have seen Sooner make an appearance on our social media from time to time. He was always somewhere nearby while we were building, creating, loading trailers, or working on whatever crazy idea came next.

Sooner took his role in Sipsy operations very seriously. Every delivery driver dropping off Sipsy supplies was greeted with a toy and an expectation that they throw it. He was always right at our feet while we loaded and unloaded bar supplies, usually dropping a toy directly in our path. There were plenty of times we tripped over one while hauling bars to the garage, and more than once, one of his toys accidentally made its way into our supplies and accompanied us to an event.

He was also a very enthusiastic member of the Sipsy taste-testing department. Watermelon Agua Fresca was a favorite of his, and nothing made him happier than getting a pup cup made with leftover cold foam after a Dirty Soda event.

This picture was from the early days of The Schooner, when he graciously volunteered to make sure the bar was up to his standards.

Sooner loved to play, loved to fetch, and mostly just loved being wherever we were. He was deeply loved by our family, the Sipsy staff, and everyone who got to know him.

Thanks for supervising every load-in, inspecting every delivery, taste-testing the leftovers, and leaving your toys in all the worst possible places.

We sure are missing you, Sooner. 🖤
