House of Supreme is hosting another fire class!
Decorative Knots: Q***r and Trans Only Rope Class
(Beginner and intermediate class)
This class is an introduction to decorative sh***ri using knots (double coin, friendship/cross knot, munter hitches), accessories (rings, chopsticks), and partnered connection.
Participants should bring their own rope hanks, at least 3 hanks of 30 ft or longer hanks, and their own mats/blankets.
This class will begin with a brief safety discussion and intro to basic knots, demonstrate decorative tie, and assist participants to replicate & tie knots in a hands-on, skills share environment. Participants are welcome to practice on themselves or with a negotiated partner.
Taught by:
5pm: Social Hour
(Ice breakers, games, and community building)
6pm: Workshop begins

Accessibility:
The Center has an elevator and an accessible bathroom. There are no steps to get into the building or the workshop space.
There is a low sensory area away from the main workshop for people to use if they need to ground.
COVID Policy:
All attendees are asked to test within 6 hours of the class and bring their negative results. We will have a limited number of free tests for those who need support with testing, and we will ask you to come 20 minutes early to test before the workshop begins.
If you test negative, but still have symptoms or feel sick, please stay home. If you have been exposed to someone who tested positive within 10 days, please stay home. Let’s keep each other well.
Free masks are provided and encouraged, but not mandatory.
