I owe the Harvest Fest community an apology.
After years of pouring my heart, time, energy, and everything I had into this event and this community, I will not be part of Harvest Fest this year.
This was not easy decision, but it's been a long time coming, sadly. Harvest Fest has been a huge part of my life for many years. I’m incredibly proud of what we built, the people I’ve met, the friendships that came from it, and the memories that will stay with me forever.
LIfe changed in ways that forced me to step back, even from the things I love. Right now, I need to put my family, my well-being, and rebuilding my life first.
I’m sorry to everyone who expected to see me there, worked alongside me, supported me, or counted on me this year. Please know that stepping away does not mean I stopped caring. Quite the opposite. Walking away from something that means this much to me is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.
Thank you to every vendor, artist, musician, sponsor, attendee, friend, and fellow member of this community who has supported me over the years. I will always be grateful for the time we shared and everything we created together.
I won't lie and say I simply decided to move on. The truth is that Rob hurt me in ways that eventually made continuing to work together impossible. I've spent a long time trying to hold everything together, and I finally reached a point where protecting myself and my children had to come first. I'm not going to publicly tell every detail or turn this into a spectacle, but I also won't pretend nothing happened just to make other people comfortable.
I hope you’ll give me the grace to step away quietly and take care of what matters most right now.
Love y'all,
Em
