At honeycomb + prince, we LOVE an untraditional venue: backyards, barns, restaurants, etc. ⁣
⁣
But it does not get less traditional than a YACHT.⁣
⁣
The logistics were tricky on this one:⁣
⁣
⚓️Every person and every item had to travel by smaller launch boat to the "venue".⁣
⁣
⚓️Kitchen Space and Equipment were limited.⁣
⁣
⚓️Traditional Seating options were limited.⁣
⁣
Working within those parameters, we came up with a creative, fun, and elegant plan that felt intentional and thoughtful for all! ⁣
⁣
Mother nature was gracious to us ⁣
(for most of the day at least ☔️ ) and guests loved the roaming cocktail style reception as Arabella took them on a tour of NYC via the Hudson River while a band played on the top deck.⁣

mr. honeycomb and I contributed to proposal season statistics and got engaged right before V-Day and got married later that year in one of our favorite places, Newport! ⁣

Fun Fact: Our wedding meal was inspired by the meal at my parents' wedding... which included individual picnic baskets for each guest. For ours, we did a "bento box" with upscale picnic foods in it (slides 3 and 4) ⁣
