Every now and then, I think it’s important to share the woman behind the brand ❤️

Last night, my beautiful brother and his wife surprised me with a post-birthday dinner, and I was completely caught off guard. 🥹 And then my brother surprised me with a new phone too lol. 😂📱

It was the thought and love behind it all that meant the most. Thank you both for making me feel so loved and appreciated.

I don’t talk about my family much on this page, but they are a huge part of my why. My family is one of the reasons I chose entrepreneurship years ago.

I wanted to build something meaningful, create opportunity, and ultimately create a legacy that could extend beyond me.

Over the years, I’ve learned that wealth isn’t only about what we build. It’s also about how we show up for the people we love, the memories we create, and the love we give and receive along the way.

Last night, I felt that love poured right back into me. ❤️

Behind EBK is a woman who believes deeply in family, purpose, legacy and creating a life that means something.

And yes... my brother definitely gets extra points for the new phone. Thanks bro. New phone who dis 👀😎📱

After all, the U.S. Open is back, and this year I’m front and center.

You know what I found fascinating about tennis? Is that every point starts at zero. No matter what you did in the last match, you still have to show up and earn the next point.

Business is no different. I remembered when I first started planning events. Each event was starting back from zero.

Every client. Every event. Every room.

Every opportunity is another chance to execute, create an experience and earn the next one.

So yes, I’m enjoying my view at one of the world’s biggest sporting events… but I’m also paying attention to the lesson.

You don’t get to coast on yesterday’s win. You show up and deliver again and again.

And if they’re going to bring the US Open to New York, naturally, they need New York’s number one Event Strategist in da building. 😉

Martha’s Vineyard, you owe me nothing. 🎂🌊

I didn’t have any plans for how I wanted to welcome this new chapter.

I only knew I wanted something different.

So I followed my heart, stepped into the unknown, and allowed God to lead the way.

It led me to Martha’s Vineyard. ✨

And what a marvelous experience it was.

I explored. I learned. I laughed. I met new people. I took in the history, the beauty, the culture and every little moment in between.

Like meeting Gary, who just happens to share my birthday. 🥹 We met while visiting one of the Vineyard’s historic tabernacles, a place rooted in the legacy of some of the island’s earliest Methodist settlers.

Two strangers, the same birthday, brought together in a place so rich with history, having an incredible conversation about life, growth, and the meaning of each stage as it finds us. You really can’t script moments like that.

And somewhere along the way, I realized this trip represented so much more than a birthday. Because the truth is, this chapter of my life is unscripted.

Sometimes the most meaningful celebrations aren’t the ones with the biggest production or the most people in the room.

Sometimes it’s simply recognizing how far you’ve come and having the courage to embrace what’s next.

Martha’s Vineyard, you were everything I needed you to be. 🌊✨

Thank you for the memories, the history, the beauty, the laughter, the unexpected connections and the reminder that there is still so much life waiting for me to experience.

Here’s to another year of choosing joy, collecting experiences, taking the trip, trusting God’s direction, and becoming even more of the woman I’m meant to be.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the relationships our rooms have created.

For over a decade, I’ve believed that one introduction can change the trajectory of a business.
