2.2 million women have left the work force since February 2020. While small gains have been made since with some jobs coming back in hospitality, travel/leisure and retail, there’s still a risk those jobs will be lost again if shutdowns are required due to worsening pandemic challenges.

On the flip-side...small businesses were launched in the U.S. at record pace over the last few months with 3X’s as many people opening a new business.

These two facts inspired me to act on an idea I’ve had for a while. To develop a program that would help other women entrepreneurs launch their own business as prepared as possible. Before anyone can start anything a plan is needed and so many entrepreneurs (including myself) fail because they rush to put an idea into action without a proper . I’m putting together a group that will offer connection and practical assistance to those who haven’t done a business plan before and want the step by step assistance. If you need a refresh or want to see what writing a plan entails before taking a leap you’re also welcome. Details to follow soon but drop a Message in the comments if interested or send a DM! Sessions will be one hour and no fee.

Ever host a dinner party, have the best time and after the last guest leaves turn with dread to face the clean up? Yeah...same here! How to solve?🧐 Challenge: create a gorgeous table scape, that can be tossed in the garbage and not washed and put away. And...do t spend a ton of money on it either!
The inspiration for this setting is a disco New Year’s Eve dinner. I found everything here 🤫 (except the glass candlesticks) and paid just about $50 for this.

Fall is in the air! Setting the table for an event or even a meal is oddly soothing for me. Making sure all the silverware is polished, chairs straightened and centerpiece’s placed exactly right is very satisfying 😆 I don’t usually spend a lot of time setting tables anymore because my job involves overseeing the full event and I’m no longer the one dressing the tables for their guests. It was fun today pulling out all the new autumn goodies and sprucing the table up with pumpkins & feathers. I’ll add fresh flowers when I get the chance, but in the meantime who else is craving pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting 🧐What’s your fall table scape inspiration? Would love to see pics!
