The Wild Bird Fund continues to inspire and educate humans and help wounded birds. Today they released a red tail hawk into the wild in Central Park. He had been a patient at the WBF on the upper west side. Up, up and away . . . Eugenia Morrison Candice Odell Wild Bird Fund

The Wild Bird Fund is a non-profit organization on NYC's upper west side. People from all over the city and beyond bring in injured birds, etc. for their compassionate care.

This pretty owl was posing at the WBF's Flocktail party and gala in a beautiful location in NYC. To protect this lovely creature who lives in NJ, no flash was used and her handler held her gently in front of the available light in the room.

It was a pleasure to finally see Jeanne Grosset and Patrick Grosset-janin teaching together in Lenox, MA this week. I've seen them in action in Israel this spring with Ariel Ashwell at the Whole Health Forum; at the Happy Healthy Retreat camp this summer in Pinecrest, CA and now at the Macrobiotic Summer Conference in the beautiful Berkshires.
