Shouting the happiest first anniversary to these two cuties!!!!
(a couple days late 🫣)

It was a stunning day, and in true early September fashion we experienced a downpour RIGHT before the first dance. But honestly it made for the best dance party!! After a covered first dance, C&P braved the rain and the guests followed suit! Let’s be real though, when The Root Doctors are playing, it’s hard to stay off the dance floor, even if it’s a little wet 😎

It’s impossible to predict exactly how your wedding day will unfold, but I truly believe the best experiences come when couples lean into each moment, trust one another, and trust the experience itself. 🤍

SO many people have been asking lately if I travel. And the answer, always, is YES!

My favorite locations to date: NYC, because it’s home. Pittsburgh, because it was such a fun city, and it was so sentimental for family friends. Saratoga NY, for my oldest friend’s wedding. Just outside DC because the property was *stunning* and I am so excited to be heading back up that way in 2027!
And the list goes on ✈️

And don’t forget all of the closer “destinations” like Savannah, Charleston, Charlotte, Greenville, Asheville, and everywhere in between!

If you’re looking for the perfect place to have a little fun, bring in something unexpected, highlight something you and your partner love, celebrate the guests who you are so excited to share the day with, and just simply have another excuse for something beautiful on your wedding day, the seating chart is the place to do it!! How is it possible that people are going back to school already, when it is clearly still summer out???

Here in the south it could be summer almost all year long, so I’ll just be over here clinging to coastal quaintness, summery pastels, natural rattans, and perfectly sweet blooms. Just a few of my favorite summery Southern things!

Is “fully dressed table” a love language? Because it certainly is ours!

This table packed a punch in terms of place setting + centerpiece partnership, and I truly could not love it more!!

A lush floral ‘runner’ was a must have for this bride, and we were working with standard width banquet tables. By skipping the chargers and spreading the seating out just enough to have a bit of negative space between settings, everything looked perfectly balanced. Add a personalized place card/menu combo, and, well, chefs kiss to everything!
