Join us Aug 31 for a celebration of one of the most legendary dance floors in club history: Paradise Garage!

This is more than a party - it’s an homage to sonic history💥

From 1977 to 1987, Paradise Garage wasn’t just a club - it was a cultural movement. Helmed by the iconic Larry Levan, it set the blueprint for modern clubbing, where the music was sacred and the dance floor was a space of radical freedom and community. Its influence lives on in house and dance music worldwide.

Join us as we honor its legacy with original Garage residents Joey Llanos () and David DePino, alongside special guest for a night of deep grooves and deeper love! 💿

For this special night, Sting International will be bringing a custom sound system, built in the spirit of Richard Long. 🔊 Long’s setups weren’t just loud - his iconic RLA systems pushed deep, physical bass that moved through your body. Paradise Garage was known for that immersive sound experience, and Sting is honoring that legacy by tuning his system to hit you in all the right frequencies on the dance floor.

welcome to WHEEL HOUSE: where house music meets eight wheels 🛼 July 25+26 at Xanadu

In just one weekend, we’re bringing two Detroit legends, and , supported by a collection of visionary and heavy-hitting supporting DJs with Detroit and Brooklyn roots.

Both evenings start with skating from 7-10pm, then flip to a dance party from 10pm-3am. The party will expand into two stages, the main stage on the rink and our secret bathroom stage, .Flush, for a unique and dynamic dance experience.

Friday July 25:
Inner City are trailblazers: Detroit techno architects who brought underground sounds to the scene and laid the foundation for what we know as modern dance music. Formed in Detroit in 1987 by record producer, composer and international DJ Kevin Saunderson, Inner City is now comprised of Saunderson, his son and creative protégé Dantiez, and vocal sensation Steffanie Christi’an.

before Xanadu opened its doors to the public, Bob was there - walking around the construction site, introducing himself to everyone he encountered, imagining the then-concrete rink finished and full of skaters... & he hasn’t left since!

You can find Bob behind the decks at Xanadu a few times a month, but even when he’s not spinning for us, he stops by to check out what we’ve got going on - from goth nights to hard core shows, Bob’s seen it all. His love for the space and his insatiable curiosity know no bounds & we are so grateful to have him as part of the Xanadu family 💜

July 25 + 26, Xanadu and Shaker Mountain join forces to bring together two Detroit legends, Inner City and Moodymann, supported by a collection of visionary and heavy-hitting supporting DJs with Detroit and Brooklyn roots.
