✨ Full Circle Moments ✨

Back in 2011, I had the honor of photographing a sweet family in Puerto Rico, they had just one daughter at the time and were expecting their second. They were one of my very first clients, trusting me at the very start of my journey as a photographer.

Now, 14 years later, here we are in St. Johns, Florida; and I get to photograph their beautiful family once again. Their girls have grown, and they’ve added a sweet boy to the family too. Life has changed, but the love, connection, and warmth are stronger than ever.

It touched me the most hearing them say:
"We knew you were the one to capture these moments. We feel so comfortable with you — you always bring out the best in us."

That means everything to me. 💛

Looking to invest in a drone to take good quality pictures that won’t break the bank for a start up. Will upgrade eventually. This will be for personal use and to integrate to my photography business. (I have a Mark IV for image quality comparison). Any brand recommendation to start with? Also, is there any license or certification to fly one or can this be done without it? Thanks!

Our greatest strength lies in the sweetness and tenderness of our heart.

💕Gianna and Addie showed what sisterhood means with simple gestures and tiny actions. Their eyes crossed and they had a full conversation without words that only they understand.

💗I loved each of these photos in this photo session. The posed pictures and the spontaneous moments that arose when looking at a flower, an animal, or when running barefoot in the grass in an empty field.

If we could see the world through the eyes of children, we would see the magic in everything. Through photography I try to portray what we felt as children, where everything was magical and how with a wood stick we could save the world after an epic fantasy war. Imagination is infinite. 🧸

Nature and childhood always look good together. It is an infallible combo.

I love to integrate a simple prop that do not overload a scene too much, as well as the tones that accompany a leading child are my favorites. And never forget that childhood is freshness and spontaneity.

During my photo sessions I am always hunting for moments that carry a lot of emotions. I like to leave the interpretation open to those who see it.

While I was editing this picture, all I can think is this is what sublime feels like. Every time I take my camera out, I am hunting for the light and the beauty in everyday life. I am looking for moments like this. See something special, different in the middle of the ordinary things is a gift we lose as we grow up. Children have the ability to remind us we can get it back.

One thing about Jacksonville is that a lot of big empty walls have been covered with fantastic murals designs. It gives the opportunity for Art to be expressed. I rather see tons of murals than empty walls or marketing billboards. I recently found this one in Riverside hiding behind some train tracks and a dead end road. During our photo shoot, we did a quick run and snap some shots ✨
