Unicycle Productions is now focused on producing international collaborations, managing complex tours, and developing a new professional network for outdoor and site-specific performance, the Street Arts Nexus. About Sonia Kozlova Clark

Sonia Kozlova Clark is a live events producer and cultural executive with over 30 years of experience in live performance, including outdoor festivals, immersive theater, large-scale concerts, cirque, and experimental art installations. Her work has brought cutting-edge artistic experiences to audiences in both intimate settings and large venues with over 10,000 attendees. Before re-establishing Unicycle Productions in 2025, Sonia served as the Executive Director and President of Artpark for eight transformative seasons. Under her leadership, Artpark presented over 500 concerts and performances, from music legends like Dolly Parton, George Clinton, and Earth, Wind & Fire, to contemporary innovators like DakhaBrakha, Alarm Will Sound, and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. She also brought international spectacles like Carmina Burana by Fura dels Baus and major U.S. premieres by Plasticiens Volants, Cirque Inextremiste, and Art Move Concept to American audiences. Sonia's tenure at Artpark included the creation of signature festivals like the Strawberry Moon Festival, which celebrated Haudenosaunee culture, and immersive public space programs like The Art of Walking and Sonic Trails, which pushed the boundaries of site-specific art during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her strategic leadership extended beyond programming, driving a 30% overall budget increase, a 579% growth in individual giving, and the launch of the POWER: ARTPARK 2030 master to re-envision the park’s campus and direct programming toward a environmentally conscious institution; The initial phase of the plan, the Connector Trails and Scramble, were recently completed by New York State Parks. Sonia's early career included roles as General Manager for The House Foundation/Meredith Monk, Executive Producer for Stage Entertainment Russia, and Managing Director for Urban Stages Theater in New York City. She holds an MFA in Theater Producing from Columbia University School of the Arts and a BA in Business Management from Marymount Manhattan College. Sonia is a member of numerous international networks, including the Marché International des Cirques Contemporains in Montreal, the International Society for the Performing Arts, the Creative and Independent Producer Alliance, and LiveArts UK, reflecting her deep commitment to the global performing arts communities.

Does your work include Street Performance? C**A is partnering with Street Arts Nexus on their OFF-WAA Street Arts Showcase to offer two showcase slots for C**A members with exceptional Street Performance acts as part of a must-see showcase at the 2026 Western Arts Alliance Conference. This high-profile showcase will transform the public spaces in and around BANDALOOP Studios into a vibrant outdoor performance venue. Selected artists will have the opportunity to perform for an audience of presenters, producers, agents, fellow artists, WAA conference delegates, and members of the local community during one of the performing arts industry's premier gatherings.

The OFF-WAA Street Arts Showcase is spearheaded by C**A members Sonia Kozlova Clark and Kevin Ewing in partnership with Bandaloop. Apply soon! First come, first served, subject to production. No "pay-to-play" or showcase fees, but all participating producers and artists must cover their own production and travel costs for the showcase.

Performances should:

✅ Be designed for presentation in public space.
✅ Be tour-ready, with a preferred running time of 10–20 minutes (30 minutes maximum).
✅ Be self-contained and capable of operating with minimal site infrastructure.
✅ Function safely and effectively alongside other performances that may be occurring simultaneously in nearby locations.
✅ Be capable of setup and strike within approximately 1–2 hours using the artist’s crew.
✅ Unless approved in advance, rely only on battery-powered equipment. Artists are responsible for supplying all performance-specific equipment, props, costumes, apparatus, instruments, and scenic elements.
