From calling plays on the court to excelling in the classroom, Nia has always carried herself with quiet strength, determination, and grace. As Bedford Academy’s basketball team manager, she worked behind the scenes, never asking for the spotlight but always showing up with heart and hustle.

Now, she’s stepping into her purpose. My baby made it official: University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Class of 2029.

To say I’m proud is an understatement. I’m in awe. I’ve watched her grow through every challenge, every win, every late night study session, and every early morning commitment. She is everything I prayed for and more.
