Introducing to you the playful artwork on tote bags by 👩🎨 created at our latest event PA BAILA.
Sophie Skripko is a Brooklyn based artist with a background on fine art paintings who has worked as a children’s painting instructor. She finds passion in the everyday interactions she has with the city and her community.
This summer she opens up the “Art & CHILL” Studio in Bushwick, where she’ll be working on her many projects including, custom painted clothing and accessories, private children’s classes, and also rent time for artists who do not have a creative space to work out of.
The Art & Chill Studio space was inspired by her DIY events of the same name, where she invites anyone with an interest in painting to make art, eat, drink & enjoy specially curated DJ’s who play chill tunes while everyone creates their own artwork; while providing all supplies needed: canvases, paint, brushes, markers, etc.
We’re excited to see her bloom with her new studio space as she helps others express themselves through painting.
