You already know that we specialize in handmade, custom bridal gowns but today we're sharing what that really looks like!

❶ At your first appointment, you'll work with your expert stylist to pick and choose parts of various gowns that you love. Your stylist will help you see how each part will work together to become your dream dress! It's all about design, not decision.

❷ Next is your muslin fitting! This is where Modern Trousseau is truly set apart from other brands that offer customizations. Muslin is a plain cotton fabric that serves as a prototype of the dress. Here we will discuss customizations and get the perfect fit before cutting into the fabric for your gown!

❸ At your third and typically final fitting, we will make some minor adjustments as needed to make it more comfortable or to make sure it fits like a glove!

At Modern Trousseau DC, you have the unique ability to create a one-of-a-kind gown and work directly with the Connecticut based design team.
