Guess what? I’ve been working on something super exciting for Mel’s Delights Event Planning LLC! 🎉 We’re giving ourselves a little makeover to keep up with the times, and I can’t wait to share it with you all! 🎨

You know I’ve always loved styling events 🎉, baking yummy treats 🧁, and now I’ve added rental items!

I won’t lie, it’s been a bit of a journey with some personal challenges and moments where I lost my motivation. But, with a little grit and determination (and some late-night brainstorming sessions!), I’ve given our brand a fresh, modern look that I think you’re going to love! 💖

We’ve got new colors, a new logo, and lots of exciting new stuff coming your way – from products and flavors to merchandise and collabs! 🌟

I’ve found my belief and faith again, and I’m feeling super positive about this next chapter for Mel’s Delights. So, stay tuned, because there’s so much more to come! 🙏🏽✨

Our Story

My name is Melissa Baptiste. I am the CEO of Mel’s Delights. I am from new york city, born and raised in the Bronx. Since an early age I've always had a passion for creative arts whether it has been creating elements from imagination, dance, drawing , painting, and the list goes on, but I love being hands on and active.

When I had my children my children's father and I was very dedicated to having birthday parties for them every year and every year I would get complimented on how great of a job I did décor wise and that I should make that a living and build an empire. I would also help family members plan and execute events of their own as well as participate. I took a step of faith, along with motivation from my business partner William , who was at the time finding an interest in balloon design, and my aunt Yvette (ceo of skyladies inc) also an event specialist, to do what it is I love to do and want to do! and so I did. I decided to start my own event styling/decorating business in which overall planning plays a huge part when bringing all ideas and visions together.

I also decided that besides the styling/decorating, I should include the people closest to me who are also talented which is my children’s father william (balloon design artist) and his Mother Juana ( a great cook with over 25 years of experience) and offer these services as well branched under Mels Delights.

So here we are, a family run business that specialize in services such as event/party decorating! However we do offer other services such as balloon design, Treats packages, Food catering and Much more!! We are open to working with different budgets! and look forward to continuing building and executing greater events as the company grows.
