Looking for a family photographer in Brooklyn?

Two more days ’til spring, and I couldn’t be more excited! I just photographed my first big wedding of the season, kicking off a stretch of family and engagement sessions this week.

After such a long, cold winter, I’m ready to spend more time outside, how about you?! Now’s the perfect time to step in front of the camera. When I’m not capturing beautiful weddings, I love taking family photos. My neighborhood of Park Slope is full of families.

Whether your baby just turned one, your kids are almost tweens, you need save-the-date photos, or want updated family photos (including the pup too), I’d love to capture you all looking and feeling your best.

Spending time in nature is tremendously cathartic for me. I have a vegetable and flower garden in the summer, and for inspiration I always ask my clients what flowers they’ll have at their weddings!⁠

That’s why being in Barbados last week felt like such a treat— walking beneath rustling palm tree leaves, surrounded by bougainvillea, orchids, monsteras, bearded fig trees and more..⁠

Back in NYC now, and I’ve already photographed a stunning wedding in a skyscraper with sweeping views of this concrete jungle

Weaving a few rolls of film into a wedding or family session enriches the story - adding realism, natural color, grain, texture, and a touch of dreaminess to the pictures. Shooting film slows down the pace of the shoot. These color film portraits from Becca and Mike’s wedding last spring were made during cocktail hour, just after the rain stopped.⁠

The color images are film, and the black and white photos = digital.⁠ Love them all!
