The theme for this week’s Morning SIP is “My Sugahs”.

Yesterday’s SIP was inspired by Lloyd Williams who recently made his transition.

Lloyd loved my Sugahs like they were his granddaughters.

He was a powerful example of what it means to be devoted to your purpose and your people. He was certainly connected to his YES.

His unwavering love for Harlem was more than a passion—it was a calling. He poured his life into uplifting the community, co-founding HARLEM WEEK Inc. over 50 years ago, a cultural legacy that continues to thrive.

I kept pondering on the fact that he made his transition during HARLEM WEEK—a divine nod, perhaps, to the life he lived in full alignment with his mission.

Lloyd lived an extraordinary life that has left an indelible imprint on The Nobles family.

May we continue to rise on the wings of his example to live a purposeful life passionately.

Our deepest condolences to the “Williams” family. We love you!

Rest in Power, Lloyd! Your light lives on in Harlem—and in us.
