Saturday, July 11th was my first time at Lake Morey Resort and it's beautiful. What a beautiful place to get married! Everything went off perfectly for their event.

But let me tell you, with charm comes inconvenience and I walked 23,000+ steps / 10.7 miles on my feet yesterday. The ceremony and cocktail hour site was approximately .25 miles from the reception room with stairs along the way. My body is shot!

I love being able to work at people's personal homes, and in this case, their farm too. I used to get my veggies at this spot and on Saturday, they hosted a beautiful wedding for a lovely young couple. As usual, I only snapped a few. If there were only 50-60 people, it felt like 90% we're dancing most of the night.

I almost never do winter weddings. But when a planner recommended me and it was only a party of 40, sure, why not. On the way the ceremony, the van transporting the guests couldn't make it up the hill because of the snow. They got everyone there in 4 wheel drive cars, but delayed the reception by 45 minutes. 😔 So I had to throw in a few extra songs to keep the party rolling!
