PARCEL FROM AMERICA: The Irish Musical
October 28 – November 22, 2026
Opening November 4
Theatre Row, New York City

Based on a story by acclaimed Irish storyteller Tomáseen Foley, Parcel from America brings together an international cast of actors and musicians from Ireland and the United States, following its world premiere at Dublin’s Smock Alley Theatre.

Set in rural Ireland in the 1950s, the musical is inspired by the parcels of clothing, gifts and much-needed dollars sent home by Irish emigrants in America. At the center is one special parcel that changes the lives of a young boy, a lonely widow and ultimately an entire community.

The international cast includes Alex Sharpe (Celtic Woman), Clare O’Malley (Irish Rep), Michael Grennell (Abbey Theatre, Game of Thrones), Mick Mellamphy (The Smuggler) and Úna Clancy (Irish Rep), alongside American Broadway, Off-Broadway and touring performers.

The production also features an international ensemble of musicians led by Irish composer and music director Kevin Corcoran, with fiddle, bodhrán, uilleann pipes, whistle, bouzouki and mandolin.
