When I was planning my wedding I was the bride who didn’t want a florist, I wanted a floral designer. Didn’t want a planner, I wanted someone who could step inside my head, pull out the vision I couldn’t even fully say out loud yet, and make something I didn’t know was possible.

I also wanted to actually LIKE the people I was trusting with one of the biggest days of my life. Because the wedding day matters, yes. But so does the 14 months getting there.

That’s exactly why I love this one.

This Sunday I’m at Bubbles & Brides on the Bay, an intimate waterfront bridal showcase in Virginia Beach from 12 to 4, and intimate is the key word. This is not overwhelming. This is not a sea of vendor tables and tote bags. This is actually getting to know the people who could be in your corner.

January 3 Capricorn here ♑️✨

I turned 40 over the weekend and it feels great!

Those who’ve worked with me on event days say I bring a calming presence, but in my private life I am EXTRA honey.

Fun Facts: I love bubbly 🥂 and I love a reason to celebrate 🎉 , big or small. And while I’m not really a sweets person, a birthday candle had to happen. Though honestly, a candle in a medium-rare steak would’ve been very on brand and would have made me happier 😂.

As we step into a new year, I just want to say thank you to the 2025 clients who trusted me with their weddings, showers, and proposals, and to the vendor partners who help make those moments memorable.

Here’s to 40 and to the celebrations ahead 🥂✨

22 days before I said “I do,” my family gave me something unforgettable.

A sun-drenched room filled with love, laughter, and the soft glow of candlelight. Blue and white chinoiserie vases overflowed with ivory blooms, navy tapers flickered in glass cylinders, and every detail whispered intention.

It was so beautifully designed, people thought I planned it lol.

But my family took the reins and gave me the shower of my dreams—thoughtful, elegant, and overflowing with love 🥹.

I left that day wrapped in warmth, grateful for the women who raised me, the friends who surround me, and the joy of stepping into this next chapter feeling so deeply seen.
