Our Story

Since the 1950’s our family has been immersed in the floral and botanical community in New York. With each generation, we strive to make our community stronger and have developed a deep understanding and appreciation for staying current with changing trends, technology and continue to set the standard for quality and affordability.

Our flagship store is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and is home to 4 floors of flowers, plants, pottery and even our own rooftop greenhouse–you’ll want to see this!

Our two newest shops (Columbus Ave. on the UWS and 1 Prince St. in Nolita) feature a curated selection of plants, potted succulents, premium European blooms along with our handmade candles, cards and coffee shop offerings.

Serving coffee and espresso drinks from Toby’s Estate, our Flower + Plant + Coffee concept was born out of the desire to enjoy an environment filled with our most favorite plants, and cultivate a sense of community amongst plant lovers. Locally made pastries, cold brew and floral/plant based drinks make for the perfect afternoon escape in NYC. A return to buying US made and handmade products has allowed us to source from talented vendors and artisans both locally and throughout the United States. In addition to our NYC shops, PlantShed.com offers flower and plant delivery anywhere in NYC, as well as an option for national delivery. Our e-commerce shop boasts over 150+ floral arrangements - as well as premium plants, cacti, succulents, terrariums and more.
