Stars 40th Birthday Photoshoot! Classy & Timeless 🖤🌹

To my own surprise this was our very first time doing the newspaper photoshoot, definitely would love to do more like this especially for kids! Star actually made her own newspaper using Canva which is perfect for projects like this! The red roses were the perfect prop and pop of color! 🥰

Star looks absolutely stunning baby proving that black don’t crack! 🤪

I love my ability to shoot on white backgrounds and not overexpose too much! That’s true growth for me because I definitely was lacking consistency in that area! The contrast here is my favorite! I love shooting against white by the way lol! I have some type of OCD fr, I like things bright, minimal, organized, and clean!✨

Missed National Siblings Day But Here’s My Post 🥰

The most challenging part was making sure we did shots that looked like siblings vs couples and we nailed it! 👏🏽

Y'all, l'm so excited to finally share these photos from Jy's golden-themed shoot! did this shoot last month, but of course, I had to wait until after her birthday to post! 🤗

Here's what we used to create this look:
• 2 white boards from Home Depot

• Gorilla spray adhesive to stick the foil blankets to the boards

• Clear tape to hold the boards together

• Mylar emergency thermal blankets (from Amazon) for the backdrop and floor

• A light/flash setup to cast cool shadows on one side for that dynamic, textured look

We started by taping the white boards together, then we sprayed the gorilla adhesive on the board! We crinkled the Mylar blankets by hand for that perfect textured backdrop, then used the same blankets on the floor, leaving them smooth to contrast with the backdrop. It gave the whole setup such a rich, golden vibe.

Jy SLAYED this shoot! Her hair, her makeup, her whole energy-just flawless. The golden tones paired with the outfit, hair, and makeup really made everything pop

Javonni’s First Birthday Photos 🤍🖤

This was a last minute birthday photoshoot booked by Jovonni’s God mother as a gift to her mom! 🥹 I love, love, love when people book photography sessions as a gift because it’s such a timeless gift, you’ll receive an unforgettable photo session and timeless images! 🥰

Since we didn’t have time to order props we asked the client to send both of the babies outfits and we would come up with a nice coordinated set. Once I seen the white dress I went to the same day as the session to get a grey satin fabric and clear diamonds. We also brought the column prop for photos with her sister so that she would have something to sit on that complimented the set. ✨

Javonni did great for her very first photoshoot! The diamonds were distracting enough for her to get some nice candid shots. We love it when the babies can’t walk just yet because it’s actually easier to get stable shots lol!

We love the way that these images came out, they’re so gorgeous! This session was done in one hour! We did the starter mini session at $275 and added on time($50 for 30 minutes) to document both outfits. We do need time to take down the set and put up another one which could take 10-15 minutes so extra time will be needed when doing a custom session. ✨

Taylor & Renaldo’s Engagement Photo Shoot 💍

When Taylor and Renaldo contacted us for their engagement shoot, we were happy to help them capture their love story in the most beautiful locations New Orleans has to offer. We started at City Park to complement their Princess and the Frog theme, and the enchanting scenery provided the perfect backdrop. 🌳

Next, we headed to A.L. Davis Park to capture some photos among the trees and in front of the surrounding graffiti. Their outfits blended seamlessly with the vibrant surroundings, and the attention to detail in their coordination was absolutely stunning! ✨

To add a personal touch, we concluded the shoot at First African Baptist Church, right next to where Renaldo grew up. This special location added depth and meaning to their photos, highlighting their journey together. ❤️

Taylor and Renaldo were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their chemistry shined through every shot, making our job so enjoyable.

🤎Rashawn Maternity Session 🤎

We love the way RaShawn‘s maternity pictures came out, the minimalist style is super cute! We only used pampas grass, a vase, and a canvas paint backdrop.The canvas backdrop adds texture to the images and the size of it is perfect! ✨

We really enjoyed the session because RaShawn is very easy to work with, a true pleasure! Thank you again for allowing us to document your first maternity photo shoot and we are wishing you the best journey in motherhood ! ✨

You’ve BEEN killing it and all I can seem to think about is how you were always in the top of the class! You were the VALEDICTORIAN in high school (2015) and to follow you have not only one but FOUR masters degrees!! You’ve done so much to make yourself and your family proud and you deserve all the praise!!

Ashley & Zoi Mommy & Me Session 🤍✨

We have been working with these two since 2019 and every session has been uniquely beautiful! 🥰

For Zoi’s 8th birthday she decided that she wanted to do a mommy and me sessions instead of her usual solo portrait birthday session. Of course we were down and decided to do something we haven’t already done! We went with “The Gallery on Magazine” which is an indoor/outdoor venue that makes a great backdrop for your photos. I love the modern take on the vintage aesthetic! This venue has a $100 per 30 minute fee! ✨

This year Zoi was so excited for her photos and really brought the energy! I absolutely love seeing her growth infront of the camera, my little unpaid model lol!! 😆

Their matching mommy & me dresses were soooo gorgeous, even more gorgeous in person! Shoutout to for making these gorgeous gowns!! I love their updo hairstyles by as well, they are so gorgeous! 🥰
