Cecilia and Hao’s wedding was one of the very first at the beautiful new St. John Community Center, and we were so honored to plan and coordinate their day.

As lovely as the venue is, these two made it feel even more special. Just look at the way they smile at each other! Their sweetness comes through in every photo, and it was such a joy to celebrate a couple so easy to love.

We’re watching the weather, listening when outside opinions become overwhelming, fixing that unexpected dress mishap, tracking down a missing bouquet, and reminding you that this day belongs to the two of you. We’re there for the happy tears, the deep breaths, and the moments when you just need someone in your corner.

We wear a lot of hats so you don’t have to. And while these photos made us laugh, the heart behind them is very real: we love what we do, and we care deeply about the people who trust us with their wedding day.

We try to snag a selfie with every one of our couples, and yes, we get ridiculously excited about it. By then, we’ve spent months getting to know you, dreaming up your day, and cheering you on. That little photo is our “we did it!” moment together.

A little wedding etiquette warning: Don’t congratulate the bride—offer her your best wishes instead. 💍

It always makes my skin crawl when I hear someone congratulate a bride, because traditionally, it implies that she has “won” or successfully secured a husband. An engagement is not an accomplishment or a prize; it is a mutual decision between two people choosing to build a life together.

Say, “Best wishes!” or “I’m so happy for you both!”

Now you know. 🤍

If you find yourself typing “congratulations” under a couple’s engagement photos on social media, you might want to think again.

Sometimes, the love of your life is just fate and a cup of coffee away. ☕️🤍

Renae and David’s love story feels like something straight out of a movie. A chance meeting at a Starbucks while vacationing in Costa Rica became love at first sight—and the beginning of a whirlwind romance neither of them could have expected.

What followed was a love story measured in miles, plane tickets, phone calls, and the determination to bridge the distance between them. Their long-distance romance proved that when two people are meant to find one another, geography is simply another obstacle love learns to overcome.

Their wedding day was the beautiful culmination of that journey: two lives, once separated by distance, finally coming together surrounded by the people who love them most.

Renae and David are also such a beautiful reminder that love is ageless. There is no timeline for finding your person. Sometimes fate waits until exactly the right moment, in exactly the right place—even if that place happens to be a Starbucks thousands of miles from home.
