1. The groom’s face watching the door
2. Lana Del Rey echoes loudly through the empty, beautiful church at Hotel Peter and Paul
3. The doors swing open and the bride walks slowly towards the groom and me
4. With only the photographer present, the intimacy was out of this world

I truly recognize that every couple and every wedding is different. There are some couples who give no weight to the ceremony itself, hire a $50 part-time officiant from craigslist, and spend $980 on a wedding cake. (And that’s ok- everyone’s feelings about their wedding are valid). Trust me, the couples who value that ceremony will find the right person for them ❤️ I smile so big when I read these morning after notes!

What an amazing, intimate wedding to not only officiate, but coordinate as well! This is my first time at this venue and it was so awesome to see everyone’s reaction to such rich, New Orleans culture! Sara simply LOVES Nola, so we made sure to include a good ol’ WHO DAT in her ceremony script!

Fun fact- I marry more elopement couples than locals. People don’t just visit New Orleans… they fall in love here❤️
