Hey! That’s me with my honey! My sounding board and my best friend. I thought I’d reintroduce myself and share another couple new changes to Wild Joy!

If you haven’t seen me say it yet, I’m first and foremost a stay at home wife and mom. I promise you I’m not bored! Aside from 4 wildly filled with joy children, my husband and I run a very small crop farm ( ).
•
I have been a photographer for 10 years, which is also how long I’ve been a mom! I’m self taught even though I tried to get a degree (Go Bucks!). I realized it was a waste of tuition $ so free podcasts and on the job learning.
•
NEW CHANGES:
When you inquire about a session I have a session guide with details like pricing and how sessions are set up. And you’ll also get a location guide of my fav spots but I’m still open to other locations.

BUCKET LIST! {First New Year Addition}

These aren’t “styled” but more or less activities we can incorporate into a session. It doesn’t have to be baking or boating or painting the WHOLE time. But it will be a good portion. I want to shake things up and it might even make the kids or husbands excited! Who wouldn’t want to splash mom or their sibling at the end of the session?
•
Not gonna lie, the horse one might be the top one on my list, but I genuinely would adore shooting any of these with you!
•
If you see one that stands out to you, we can talk more details, but I’m offering each idea one time at the listed price and after one is booked, say a second bonfire one or third or fourth would then be $350. If that’s confusing, I’m happy to explain more haha!

Okay, I’m here for my 2025 wrap up post! You ready?! I could total up the sessions and images I had over the last 12 months, but those are just numbers. Do you know what I see when I look back at these snippets from each session? People. And not just people but YOU. I know names, I remember conversations, the laughs, the chaotic moments when you might have doubted getting anything worth photographing to then getting a fuller gallery than anticipated. But most of all, I see connections that I’m so thankful for. Just ask my husband; he’ll ask me how so and so found me and I get SO excited when 99% of the time I can connect you to another client. Word of mouth has been my “bread and butter” so to speak. What that means is that my efforts are not just posting ads, but delivering what you hired me for and doing it well enough you felt it worth while to send someone else my way.
•
I’m not in this to make oodles of money. Shhh! Don’t tell everyone; but I’m not even in this to make it full time. { If you haven’t seen me say it yet…. I’ve got four Velcro children…. They kinda need me home} If I go full time, it’ll be when it fits into God’s plan.
•
What I’m in this for is to share a skill I believe God gave me; to capture memories that might not come again, nor will ever look the same again, and to meet wonderful people like YOU.
•
I’m so incredibly excited to share some changes and improvements for next year like I’ve mentioned in my stories. As I have things ready to share, they’ll be dropped. No major count down.

What a wonderful way to close my books for 2025 with this family! They made my job so incredibly easy, but were genuinely the sweetest family to be around. It brought back memories of growing up with my cousins and the joy we had in getting together after not seeing each other for a while.
•
One my favorite parts of extended families is seeing how big of a family comes from two people that fell in love. That’s a legacy.
•
One “new” thing that I introduced for the Christmas season was gift cards. They will be available all year round so you can use them for any type of gifting!

I turned on Christmas music for the first time today and I didn’t think I’d get the itch to decorate, but man, now I have to try really hard to hold out two more weeks 😅

I’ll just have to settle going through Christmas photos for you! I loved getting to see this sweet family again, their little man is getting ready for his first holiday season and it’s so special and magical with your first child.
•
But don’t worry about making it Pinterest perfect. After 10 years of parenting, focus on the traditions that work and matter most to your family. I’m embracing a lot of the 90’s and simplicity. A lot of intentionality.

Ta da!! Gift cards! These can be made for any amount you would like to gift to someone for a session in 2026. I’ll simply replace the “X” with the amount and email you the image. Newborn ones can be used toward anything baby related. And Family can be used towards anything family related.

As cliché as it sounds, whether it’s someone else’s baby or my own, I can’t get over how fast time goes by and all of a sudden they’ve been hanging out for a year.
•
Stan the man; you were just a new fresh babe like yesterday! Now you’re taking steps to keep up with your sis.
•
Every milestone our children accomplish is special, but this pivotal moment where they teeter between being a baby and a toddler is a sad one for me. I love watching personalities but don’t want to lose the baby phase.

Who’s behind the camera?

Hello! It’s a blessing to have you stop by my little corner of the world! Photography seems to have been in my blood since birth and I have been working towards this for a long time. It’s about the people for me, those that want to savor the little moments or the unforgettable moments. I have a love for weddings that my fiance doesn’t know how to handle, so I channel it into photographing couples, engagements and weddings. I partner up with Evoke Images (of Findlay, OH) to shoot weddings as often as possible and she is my second shooter for weddings I head up. I do a small amount of family sessions on the side, so please feel free to message me with any interests! Some passions of mine outside of photography are my up-coming marriage to my best friend, raising my little boy and our 2 fur babies, baking, homemaking and fitness. What are your interests? What are your passions? What makes your day? Mine is getting to share my love of my little family and my love for photography!
