What can I say! One of the founders of Pickin’ Roots passed away September 28th. Tony Ramirez a true county gentleman and dear friend passed away at the young age of 95!

God has blessed me with a lot of wonderful people over my life and Tony was certainly one of them. He and I loved them old country songs and it was a true privilege to have played music with him over the years and to call him a friend.

God speed buddy and you certainly didn’t let the old man in!

We lost one of the founding members of Pickin’ Roots this week. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mary and his whole family. He was a good friend to many and an asset to the band for years.

Details to follow when available.

They are located at 3604 Chase Road, Adrian MI 49221 See you at the barn!

Event will be in an unheated barn, come dressed appropriately! Horses, music, silent auction, bake sale - admission by donation.

Don’t forget. This coming Saturday. A fun filled fund raiser with some country gospel music.
