I am teaching a free after hours painting party for adults at New Concord Branch Library on Friday, August 28 from 6-8 p.m. All supplies are provided. Registration is required and limited so register on the library's website online. I hope to see you everyone soon! (Note that the painting party is free, but the library is paying for/sponsoring this event, so please only register and take a seat if you are intending to attend. I joined a Mother Nature Artist Trading Card swap, so for the past couple weeks I've been experimenting with making my own paints with blackberries, blueberries (using base baking soda to make it green and acid vinegar to make it pink), and turmeric. I also got a tiny flower press on a keychain from Amazon and took it to work and pressed flowers and leaves out of the gardens to add. I coated them in modge podge. I enjoyed this.
