Roughly 6 months after our first production meeting, the cast & crew of Naughty Nibbles: A Kitchen Cabaret took their final bows at the New Bern Civic Theatre.
With 10 performers, 2 acts, 25 routines (can you believe it?!) on nearly every apparatus that we own, and countless hours of choreographing, rehearsing, costuming, and planning... I couldn't be more proud of the hard work that each and every member of our cast & crew put in to make this happen.
Nearly 700 people came to see this production from open dress on Wednesday through our final show on Saturday night. We had a WILD 11:00pm show on Friday 🔥 I have a million things to say about how impressed I am with everyone, and even more feelings about this whole experience. It was my directorial debut and I couldn't do it without everyone's support!
Some of the feedback I've received about our production has brought me to (happy) tears. That people were moved by the vulnerability shared onstage, that this is the kind of show that brings New Bern to the next level, or that a mother was proud to have her daughter learning and being connected to such an amazing and empowering group of strong, confident women.
I could go on and on, but for now, I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all who took part in, supported, and saw our production. The kitchen is closed... Until next time 😘
