The local comedy scene is built by people who do more than just get on stage. It’s built by the people who show up, support one another, and put in the work to give others a place to perform. Amanni is one of those people, and right now, she could use some of that support returned to her.
As one of the founding producers of Corner Store Comedy, Amanni has played an important role in helping build what we have today. She has been a constant supporter of the local comedy scene, working behind the scenes and helping create opportunities for comedians to share their talents with our communities.
Recently, Amanni suffered the heartbreaking loss of her mother. While there are no words or donations that can take away that kind of pain, we can come together as a community to help support her during this difficult time.
If you've ever attended a local comedy show, performed on a local stage, or benefited from the community that people like Amanni have helped build, please consider donating whatever you can. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a reminder that the same community she's supported is here for her, too.
Let's show Amanni the same love and support she's given to so many of us.
