As the sun sets on the eve of the 250th anniversary of our Independence Day, remember that this weekend you don't need to party like a Founding Father to have a good time. The fact printed in the meme posted here has been verified; the dinner party happened just days before the end of Washington's term as leader of the 1787 Continental Congress... and right before the signing of the newly-created Constitution of the United States.

Two years later, in 1789, the Constitution would finally go into effect just as Washington returned to D.C. as our nation's first president. No word on if he was still hungover from this infamous dinner party.

Be safe this weekend!
