Something to note, “true” chaos and turmoil doesn’t seem to be in our collective nature. To cause terror is something trained and learned.

In “Goliath’s Curse” (by Luke Kemp) the author shares how the fear of chaos is used to keep the status quo. (Paraphrasing) When the storm strikes and destruction is laid out, we actually see communities will organize together. There’s no prompt or training, we pick up the pieces as a collective.

What a gift it is to have this free in Richmond every year. After a difficult day and tough week I treated myself to an artist excursion, to paint while listening to live music and I came across . Their set filled my heart as I painted women shifting into doves to be free.

I’ve said this sporadically, on different posts over the years, but I’ve received some cruel criticism from a closing friendship, which leads me to say this in one place. This is not for him, but everyone else:

-Yes, listen to women.
-Yes, free palestine.
-Yes, dance is for everyone. As long as we practice our cultural fusion as a guest, with appreciation and willingness to learn; we are creating with respect.

I hope everyone is out here speaking, making and enjoying art. May we all fill our well. We’ve got a beautiful and winding road ahead of us.

Ba da ba da ba ba!

I showed Jenny, The Wolf Jenny Wolf how to hair flick with the silk and spoiler, she’s a natural!

I’m envisioning what it would look like to have this as a hair extension I could clip in. Do you have any thoughts on how I’d make that?

I’m thinking a braid of synthetic hair with the silk woven through.
