A community is full of stories waiting to be noticed.
My newest Wild Imaginarium blog post explores community mapping: the practice of looking beyond what a place lacks and paying attention to what is already thriving. The artists, neighbors, gathering spaces, traditions, ideas, and unexpected connections that create the true character of a community.
For me, community engagement begins with curiosity. Before we create something new, we have to listen, observe, and understand the landscape we are already part of.
I invite you to read “Community Mapping: The Art of Seeing What Is Already There” and share your thoughts.
What is something in your community that you wish more people noticed, celebrated, or supported?
