A community is full of stories waiting to be noticed.

My newest Wild Imaginarium blog post explores community mapping: the practice of looking beyond what a place lacks and paying attention to what is already thriving. The artists, neighbors, gathering spaces, traditions, ideas, and unexpected connections that create the true character of a community.

For me, community engagement begins with curiosity. Before we create something new, we have to listen, observe, and understand the landscape we are already part of.

I invite you to read “Community Mapping: The Art of Seeing What Is Already There” and share your thoughts.

What is something in your community that you wish more people noticed, celebrated, or supported?

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned how to become incredibly “presentable” while quietly drifting further away from ourselves.

After spening much of this rainy weekend preparing for an authenticity workshop later in the week, I wrote a new blog post exploring authenticity not as a trend or branding strategy, but as alignment. In work. In relationships. In family. In the way we move through the world every day.

This piece digs into the exhaustion of constant self-editing, the strange pressure to remain professionally palatable at all times, and why showing up more honestly might actually be one of the most sustainable things we can do for ourselves and each other.

Less performance. More humanity.

What if confidence wasn’t about becoming more polished, more impressive, or more “professional”… but more recognizable to yourself?

Join me at the DH Chamber Women in Business Luncheon for a lively, practical, refreshingly honest conversation about authenticity, confidence, networking, leadership, and the strange little performance many of us learned to call “professionalism.”

Somewhere along the way, entire rooms full of brilliant people started trying to sound interchangeable. This session is an invitation to stop sanding down the most memorable parts of yourself and learn how authenticity can become one of your greatest professional strengths.

Expect:

✨ Practical tools you can use immediately
✨ Audience interaction & reflection
✨ Real-world examples
✨ A few delightfully uncomfortable truths
✨ Laughter, connection, and at least one “WAIT… we all do this?!” moment

Hot take: your idea doesn’t need to be perfect. It needs to exist.

“Fully formed” is a lovely fantasy… and also a fantastic way to never start.

New blog post is live and lovingly calling that bluff.
It’s about messy beginnings, creative courage, and letting your ideas grow up in the wild.

Then come back and tell me—what are you finally making?

Have you felt it?

That flicker just past your shoulder on a twilight walk…
That hush in the trees when the wind forgets to move?

They say it’s the Knoblin.

A shapeshifter. A watcher. A whisperer of stories.
Not quite shadow, not quite light… but always near.

Some claim it appears as a fox with knowing eyes.
Others swear it borrows familiar faces.
A few insist it hums—low and melodic—like a song you almost remember.

And lately?
The Knoblin has been busy.

🎻 Strange music drifting through the trees
🎨 Symbols appearing where there were none before
🕯️ A feeling that something magical is… gathering

We’re not saying it’s calling you.

…but we’re not not saying that either.

Read the blog, then tell your story at Knoblin Fest. 🌙

Patience is not a pause.
It’s the part of the work where roots decide how deep they’re willing to go.

I wrote about the difficulty and the quiet rewards of patience — in creativity, in motherhood, and in the slow, intentional building of community.

If you’re tending something that hasn’t bloomed yet, you’re not behind.
You’re building something that knows how to last.
