Not so good advice from the internet:

RSVP Drama: And worst of all, you may get an RSVP for people who decide not to show at the last minute -- which is why it's always best to tell your venue that you have fewer people, because it's always cheaper to add than subtract at the eleventh hour!

Bad! Never leave the venue or caterer guessing at your guest count be as accurate in you count as possible, any vendor needs the correct count, you could be short food, space, flatware, china, flowers ... and god forbid liquor for the bar. Also additional food may cost you more if the venue or caterer is unprepared.

This is just awful, one of the couples, Bo and Cara Sanders was our Wedding from this past Saturday. This isn't them, but I hope they make part of their honeymoon, I really think American Airlines should take more responsibility for situations like this and not leave people feeling abandoned in a strange city.

Priest’s scolding of wedding photographers goes viral

I find this very up-setting and disrespectful to the wedding couple, how anyone let alone a member of the clergy or a wedding officiate could feel he was more important than the couple on the day of the wedding. The placement or movement of the photographer or videographer should have been discussed during the rehearsal if not before and his opinion note then, and not the day of the wedding. He should have kept his mouth shut and continued on with the wedding. He should have made a mental note to himself to discuss this issue before the next wedding that he officiated at, and not draw attention to himself. In the past few years I find myself as a wedding planner asking the officiate to provided his requirements, and preplanned vows before the wedding due to the fact that so many clergy often take liberties during the wedding in order to give a sermon, or control the wedding. I really think this priest owes the couple an apology for his actions and offer to pay for the video that he ruined.

Video on Today: “This is a solemn assembly, not a photography session,” was the explanation that a priest who was officiating a wedding gave to the wedding photographers when he threatened to stop the ceremony if they did not move away from the shocked marrying couple.

I cannot begin to tell you how much we appreciated you Saturday and Sunday! Not only did you look fabulous, you were priceless!! You took all the weight off of mine and Alexanderias' shoulders. We were able to relax and enjoy everything about the day because of you! Even the buttons coming off were just a great memory.

I would just like to let folks know if you want someone I take care of everything on your wedding day and make it spectacular....hire Peter! He did an amazing job yesterday at my wedding and made certain everything looked gorgeous, everything was in the correct place at the correct time and things went off without any glitches!
