• Ran a half-mile down a driveway in the pouring rain to put out one last parking sign.
• Curled a bride’s hair because she was scared she’d burn herself and no one else knew how to use curlers.
• Took 300 napkins home the night before to fold them myself because I wanted the mother of the bride to enjoy their rehearsal dinner instead of having to rush.
• Rushed to Walgreens to grab a new lip color because the bride didn’t love the one she brought. 💄
• Stood in line for 30 minutes to get Grandma a snow cone because the truck was too far for her to walk.
• Hopped on a vendor call mid-move because it was the only time my bride could talk.
• Threw the veil for portraits because everyone else was busy.
• Gave my flats to the bride when her feet were blistered from heels.
• Wiped makeup off the groom’s jacket after the first look.
• Stepped behind the bar and served drinks for 15 minutes when staff got stuck in traffic. 🍹 (I am ABC certified just in case)

No, none of these things were in the job description.
But that’s kind of the point. I loved every second of these because when I’m your planner, I’m the one who notices the problem before anyone else realizes there is one— and fixes it without turning it into a moment. I’m the steady hand, the calm presence, and the person quietly keeping everything on track so your day unfolds exactly how you imagined 💒💍

✨ Sydnee & Noah | 11.22.25 ✨

Some wedding days just unfold with an effortless kind of magic — and this was one of them.

Sydnee was an absolute dream to work with: thoughtful, organized, and so present throughout the day. From start to finish, everything flowed beautifully, allowing the focus to stay exactly where it belonged — on celebrating their love.

A crisp fall day, a stunning venue, and a vendor team that truly showed up (including one of the fastest photo turnaround I’ve ever experienced 👏🏼) made this celebration even more special.

Despite a little morning drizzle, the weather held, the timeline stayed smooth, and the entire day felt calm, joyful, and intentional.

Sydnee, thank you for trusting me with your wedding day. It was an honor to be part of such a beautiful celebration.

💣 UNPOPULAR Opinions: Wedding Planner Edition 💣

• If your DJ talks more than they play music… congrats, you accidentally hired a motivational speaker. But a good DJ can fix almost anything — they’re worth their weight in gold.

• Open bar solves more problems than therapy — champagne-fueled peace treaties are my favorite 🥂

• The garter toss had its time — and that time was 2008. Let’s let it rest with skinny jeans and flip phones 🕊️

• The MOH isn’t always the real emotional support. Sometimes it’s the cousin who just quietly stabilizes the entire universe.

• The bride shouldn’t have to know ANYTHING after 10am. If she’s asking where the bouquets are, that’s a red flag 🚩

• There’s always someone who thinks they know more than the planner. Their confidence is admirable. Their accuracy is… questionable.

• Candlelight > venue lighting — no one has ever felt romantic under Costco-grade LEDs 🕯️

• Assigned seating > sit wherever — otherwise you’ll have groups hovering awkwardly and waiting for a cue.

• Kids at weddings are elite entertainment. Peak joy is a toddler breakdancing with zero ankle stability 🪩

• The best weddings aren’t “pretty” — they’re felt. They live in memory, not in flat lay photos.

• A calm bride always has a Type-A planner behind her — telepathically directing movement like a pleasant, smiling puppet master ✨

• Ceremony is for the couple; reception is for the guests. Balance the intimacy and the hype.

• Pinterest is inspiration, not doctrine. We respect it — we don’t worship it 📌

I’m so proud of these floral designs — created entirely with premium faux blooms and shaped for movement, structure, and visual drama.

These pieces were designed to feel sculptural and luxurious — the kind of florals that hold their shape, photograph beautifully, and make a statement.

I got to drop these off to the future bride today and cannot wait to see these in the wedding pictures!😍

I chose not to book any weddings in October after having 3 weddings booked in September bc I wanted to spend some time with the kids while I recoup. So we are going to post a throwback to a beautiful outdoor wedding in Franklin last year that I had the privilege of decorating for. The color palette was so dreamy😍

✨Scotti + Chance | September 27, 2025

It was one of those picture-perfect fall days — warm sun, blue skies, and two people who couldn’t stop smiling. Everything about this wedding just felt easy and full of joy, which is exactly how it should be.

Scotti brought me on for partial planning and florals, and it was such an easy, fun process from start to finish. Her vision was simple, classic, and full of heart — and it came together beautifully.

And while I won’t spill the details… this one did mark a first for me as a planner. 😂 Definitely a wedding I won’t forget anytime soon!
